Getting here
Castelnuovo Magra is close to the A12 motorway, about 6 km from the Sarzana exit. Tell us how you travel:
Take the A12 Genoa–Livorno and exit at Sarzana (about 6 km). From Milan, Parma and the Brenner, come down the A15 Cisa motorway.
Tip: in July and August, leave the car in La Spezia and take the Cinque Terre train. The villages have almost no parking.
Easiest: fly into Pisa and rent a car at the airport. Otherwise, take the train to Sarzana station (about 7 km), then a taxi or a pre-booked transfer. From Sarzana, trains run to La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
